ephemeropteræ 2012/05 – Japanther

japanter
Japanther is an art project by Matt Reilly and Ian Vanek, established in 2001. In the summer of 2011 Japanther produced sounds and lyrics live in the gardens of the Arsenale in Venice in the midst of the logs, fumes, smoke, crackles, heat, energy and glass lava of Gelitin in the Gelatin Pavilion. Japanther has made its name with unique performance situations, appearing alongside synchronized swimmers, with giant puppets, marionettes, and at shows with giant dinosaurs and BMXers flying off the walls.
