In La luna, la castaña, el corazón (“The Moon, the Chestnut, the Heart”), Diego Delas weaves a poetic visual language from symbols of nature, body, and celestial rhythm. A central silhouette, flanked by lunar cycles and organic motifs, hovers between presence and memory—like a ritual offering or an altar of emotional resonance.

Rooted in Delas’s interest in pre-modern cosmologies and domestic storytelling, the painting becomes a quiet meditation on cycles of transformation, nourishment, and care. Its vivid palette and handcrafted frame further anchor the work in the intimate, tactile world the artist evokes.
