First appointment of The Many Venices. Walking through migrant histories, communities across the lagoon between past and present, a program co-curated with wetlands which, through a series of itineraries, reveals a Venice often hidden from view: a city shaped through encounters, movements, and crossings.

The program opens with wetlands’ editorial director, Luca Cosentino, who will lead us on a walk through Castello and Cannaregio, tracing the historical connections between Venice and African routes, starting from some of the itineraries explored in the book African Venice / Venezia africana (S. Bassi and P. Kaplan, wetlands, 2023).

The program is supported by Venezia Football Club as Community Partner.
