San Lorenzo Night

On Monday, 10 August, Ocean Space will open its doors for a special evening organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Venice–Murano–Burano to celebrate the Night of the Shooting Stars, also known in Italy as the Tears of S. Lorenzo.
For the occasion, Ocean Space will be exceptionally open from 7pm to 10pm, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the venue and its exhibitions independently or to join one of three free guided tours scheduled throughout the evening.
Program
- 7pm - 7:30pm - 8pm, Ocean Space | Three guided tour sessions
Each tour will explore the history and architecture of the former Church and Monastery of S. Lorenzo, the exhibition Tide of Returns, the initiative Nature Speaks and the activities of Ocean Space.

A lecture (in Italian) exploring the importance of proper lighting, not only from an astronomical perspective, but above all in relation to human health and its impact on the surrounding biodiversity.
