Ocean for All: third appointment

Atlas of Blue. Water Reveals, the penultimate event in the cycle Ocean for All, in dialogue with the themes of the exhibition Tide of Returns, will offer a multisensory and inclusive visit to the exhibition, conducted in Italian and Italian Sign Language (LIS) with an interpreter.
A workshop will then explore the theme of the imprint through cyanotypes and working with clay.
Shells, ropes, nets, natural elements, and recycled materials will be arranged on photosensitive surfaces or imprinted in clay, creating compositions constructed through shapes, silhouettes, indentations, and reliefs.
In cyanotype, light and subsequent immersion in water bring forth images with characteristic blue hues; in clay, however, contact and pressure make the shape and texture of the objects perceptible. The traces that objects leave behind continue to express their presence even after they have been removed.
Through a process of exploration, observation, and discovery, each participant will create a personal composition capable of evoking underwater landscapes, memories, and relationships with the lagoon environment.
The resulting compositions will ultimately enter into dialogue with the collective blue weaving initiated during previous Atlas of Blue events, contributing to the construction of a shared work composed of materials, images, and memories.
