Event dedicated to teachers and educators

Thursday, September 3, from 2pm to 6pm, we look forward to welcoming teachers, educators of all levels, and education professionals to the M9 Cloister in Mestre for Edu Day.

In its eighth edition, the initiative has been created by a network of over 35 cultural and museum institutions operating throughout the Veneto region, aimed at addressing the needs of the education sector.

The afternoon will be dedicated to bringing together cultural and museum institutions with teachers from preschools, primary schools, and lower and upper secondary schools. On this occasion, teachers will have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview of the educational programmes offered by museums, exhibition centres, libraries, foundations, and cultural services across the region.

Participation is free; no registration is required.

Teacher training

This year, the programme is once again enriched by an additional event dedicated to teacher training, organised in collaboration with Minotauro – Institute for the Analysis of Affective Codes, and with the collaboration of Rete Biblioteche Venezia as part of the Prendo Spazio Three-Year Plan for Youth Policies – DGR No. 66/2025 – DDR No. 36/2025. Intervention Plan “Trame urbane: storie a colori di città in movimento”, led by the Municipality of Venice – ATS VEN_12, and the “Officina delle Competenze” project, led by the Municipality of Venice. The training is open to teachers from all school levels.

School and family: building possible partnerships.

New educational models and parenting roles: tools and workshops for building an educational community.

The training will explore changes in educational models and parenting roles, as well as school-family relationships today. At the end of the session, workshops aimed at young people will be presented, together with useful information on how to access them.

The training session will take place on the fourth floor of the Candiani Cultural Centre, from 5pm to 7pm. Registration is mandatory, and places are limited. To register, please fill out the form at the following link.
