Jonathas de Andrade's work Uprising, commissioned by Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary, consists of organizing and hosting the First Horse-Drawn Cart Race in the Center of Recife, and the documentation of the event.
Jonathas de Andrade (*Maceió, Brazil in 1982, lives and works in Recife). His work was included in the 29th Sao Paulo Biennial in 2010 and in the 12th Istanbul Biennial in 2011. In 2012 he participated at the 2nd New Museum Triennial in New York.
